Teaching is considered as a most noble profession among all the job fields. But, is teaching a job field, the field only to make money?

To become a teacher should not be the option; it should be your choice.

Let me explain it in analytic manner.

We find that there’s still lack of awareness among the parents regarding the selection of work field. Yes, I mean it lack of awareness is among the parents and so it flows to the next generation, i.e. their children.

Right from the childhood, the child come across the common words thousands of times till he grows us and choose his career. What’s that the child’s ear often face?

“Go to school, Study hard, (For what?), score good marks so that you opt science, (again) study well, score well, so that you can opt for a career option seeking good job and dumping a good huge amount in your salary account.” Most popular career options among parents are Doctor, Engineer, next comes CA. Our teaching option is never among the list made by these parents. 

 So, where this teaching option exactly lies? It comes by two ways. If the child opts science and fails to score marks making him eligible for higher career option 12^th, then he completes the degree. Later at last if there’s no option left comes the B.Ed option. Arts stream is the most neglected stream among parents. This is most underestimated stream by the parents. And from this too sometimes when child find him fit for no other field goes for B.Ed.

This is the pitiable condition.

I would like to repeat again. Teaching should not be the option, it should your choice. And who said this field won’t give you success or won’t give you money.

But the requirements are different in this field.

The most important is your strong desire. Yes, you have to become teacher by wish and not by any compulsion of the circumstances.

Next is your passion. Once you become a teacher, it should not be like the ordinary job for you. A passion at heart to contribute your hard work towards this field must be always alive. This passion at heart will make you dedicated towards this field.

Once you cross all this, the things will automatically start working for you.

You will start thinking beyond the horizon. Once you go beyond the horizon, you will find how exciting and interesting is this field.

 What exactly the students expect from teacher? What exactly mean ‘Being a teacher’?

 Teaching is not just explain the lessons, not just to explain grammar and formulae, not just to take attendance and tests, not just to give instructions.

The first thing is teacher should study first herself/himself and then the students.

We stand in class in front of the students. But this is the not the only place we deserve. Our place is students’ heart. Our intention is to develop confidence among students. To make them aware that they have rights to dream. Each one of them is special. Each one of them is full of potential to make a successful career.

My dear readers never under estimate the teaching field. This is the only field which fills your life with satisfaction. This is the field which collects lots of sweet memories. This is the field which always keeps you living.

So make teaching a choice and not an option.
